1. What should I do if my box or channels are not working properly?

You can simply restart your box, which usually fixes most problems, including issues with channels or the box not working properly.

2. How can I improve my picture quality on Real TV?

To improve your picture quality on Real TV, reduce the sharpness setting on your TV (Sony, LG, Samsung, etc.) to zero and adjust the contrast and brightness. Use your TV remote to make these adjustments. Additionally, please check the HDMI settings.

3. What should I do if my picture is freezing and lagging?

A. Internet Test

Real TV runs on the internet and consumes high bandwidth. 99% of the time, problems are due to your internet connection. Follow these steps to check your internet speed:

1. Please check your internet speed at http://www.speedtest.net. It should be stable and more than 30 Mbps. Check 4 to 5 times.
2. Most internet problems can be fixed by simply switching off your modem/router for 1 minute and then restarting it, or by resetting your modem.
3. If your device is not getting enough speed, please contact your internet provider.

If your device is connected via WIFI:

B. Check WIFI Signal Strength

Check your WIFI network strength, which will be shown as a percentage. If you have less than 99% signal strength, please check your modem settings or consider getting a better modem.

4. What should I do if the picture is not filling the screen and black bands appear on the sides?

You can adjust the aspect ratio of your TV (Sony, Samsung, LG, etc.) to the 16:9 format to eliminate the black bands on the sides.

Answer: To fix the blocking issue, you can change your modem’s DNS (IPv4) settings to Google’s DNS1 (8.8.8.8) and DNS2 (8.8.4.4) ,and disable IPv6 option.
